DRYING SYSTEMS

The drying systems, made by P.R.T. Service & Innovation, are used in the washing plants to ensure a continuous reduction of the percentage of water present in the processed material, using the principle of evaporation with hot air.

This model is ideal for the complete drying of rigid materials or as pre-drying for film.
Each unit consists of :

• Hot air generating unit, fully automatic, equipped with electric heaters, which ensures a continuous production of clean and dry hot air. Its design has been studied to ensure the maximum efficiency of heating, with an energy cost reduced to the minimum.
• drying unit equipped with piping system made of galvanized steel, with a spiral path, in order to prolong the stay of the material in contact with the hot air.

The models UEF are ideal for obtaining the right percentage of residual water after the washing step, in the thermoplastic film, for the correct feeding of the same to the extrusion step.
Each unit consists of:

• Discharging cyclone and special storage silo, positioned above a metering star valve.
• Hot air generating unit, fully automatic, equipped with electric heaters, which ensures a continuous production of clean and dry hot air. Its design has been studied to ensure the maximum efficiency of heating, with an energy cost reduced to the minimum.
• Fan/extractor, centrifugal model with suction axial open impeller, connected to the rotary valve via convoy. Equipped with a temperature sensor that adjusts the right mixture of air and material to be sent to the drying tower.
• Drying tower with forced collision system, specially designed to open the material allowing a total drying of the entire surface; equipped with a visual indicator and galvanized steel piping system, with a spiral path, in order to prolong the stay of the material in contact with the hot air.
• Discharging and cooling system with cyclone and accumulation section with blower to convey the material to the subsequent machines.

The RG models are ideal for obtaining the right percentage of residual water after the washing step, in the thermoplastic film, for the correct supply of the same to the extrusion step.
Each unit consists of:

• Discharging cyclone and special silo positioned above a metering star valve.
• Hot air generating unit, fully automatic, equipped with electric heaters, which ensures a continuous production of clean and dry hot air. Its design has been studied to ensure the maximum efficiency of heating, with an energy cost reduced to the minimum.
• Fan/extractor, centrifugal model with suction axial open impeller, connected to the rotary valve via convoy. Equipped with a temperature sensor that adjusts the right mixture of air and material to be sent to the drying tower.
• Drying path, realized with pipes made of galvanized steel, with a spiral path, in order to prolong the stay of the material in contact with the hot air.

The PDU system is used in the drying of thermoplastic granulated or grinded materials.
The unit is based on a combination of mechanical and thermal energy by exploiting the passage of hot air inside of a vertical centrifuge.
The machine is composed of :

• Water collection tank
• Screw conveyor with water separation equipped with a loading hopper
• Vertical centrifuge three-stage soundproofed
• Electric heaters for the production of hot air
• Electric fan for the transport of hot air through the centrifuge
• Discharging soundproofed cyclone
